Riders who use the rear brake on track use it constantly: a trailing pressure on the way in to keep the bike settled, a touch on the exit to stop the front running wide. On a Bimota Tesi H2 1000, where the front end stays level under load and gives little away, that rear pedal becomes a genuine part of the technique. Accossato's ZXC ceramic racing compound is available in the AGPA42 shape for the rear of the Tesi H2 1000 from 2021 to 2024.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's description of this material is brief: a ceramic mixture for racing. Used at the rear it meets a particular pattern of work, since a pedal that is trailed through a corner is never off and never fully on, and the material spends the lap somewhere in between. A compound intended for competition is built to keep answering under that constant, low-level demand as well as under a hard stop, which is what the rider of a Tesi H2 1000 is asking for on a circuit.
Trailing the Pedal into a Corner
The technique is easy to describe and hard to learn. A little rear brake on the way into a turn keeps the chassis calm and the bike turning, and on the way out it can stop a fast machine from drifting wide before the throttle is fully open. It works only if the pedal is completely predictable, because the pressures involved are small and the consequences of getting one wrong are not. Riders who do this build up a feel over a season and expect it to survive a pad change.
On a track day or at a meeting, the rear brake is worth a look between sessions even though it is the front that does the visible work. Spin the wheel, check both pads, and watch for a caliper that is not releasing cleanly. Change the pair together rather than one side, take a few laps to bring new material up to temperature before leaning on it, and keep the disc clean, particularly after chain adjustment in the paddock.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato covers the rear wheel of the Bimota Tesi H2 1000 with the AGPA42 across the 2021 to 2024 model years, while the front listing, the AGPA106, closes after 2023. A single box holds the two pads the rear caliper takes, and they belong in the bike as a pair. There is no Accossato brake disc for this Bimota, so the pad numbers are the extent of what the catalogue names for the Tesi H2 1000.
Road Approval
We have no German ABE for the AGPA42ZXC and no inspection paperwork, so it is offered purely as a competition part for closed circuits.
