DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the later Triumph Street Twin, built 2019 to 2024, Accossato offers the AGPA112 front pad in ZXC ceramic racing compound as well as EV2. It gives riders who use their Street Twin in competition a second racing material to compare. It is intended purely for circuit use, where the rider can test and choose the pad that suits their style and the track.
Key Features
- AGPA112 front pads for the Triumph Street Twin, 2019 to 2024
- ZXC ceramic racing compound, article AGPA112ZXC
- For competition use and pad comparison
- Accossato calls ZXC a ceramic compound ideal for racing
- One box fits the single front caliper
- Also on this plate: OR, ST, EV1 and EV2
- No German ABE; racing use only
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes ZXC as a ceramic compound ideal for racing. It publishes no further material details, so we add none. On the AGPA112 plate, it shares hardware with the other versions, making it easy to switch between compounds for testing.
Comparing Two Racing Options
With two racing compounds available on the same plate, a rider can run one in morning practice and the other in the afternoon, keeping other variables unchanged. Note lever feel, braking points and lap times. Over a few sessions it becomes clear which suits the rider and track. Changing pads on the Street Twin's single front caliper is quick, which makes such testing practical.
Care of a Racing Brake
Racing pads work hard, and so do discs and fluid. Check disc thickness and surface regularly, use fresh high-grade fluid and look for uneven pad wear, which can reveal a sticking piston. Bed in each new set during a controlled session before full effort, and keep a written record so decisions for the next event rest on facts rather than memory.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato assigns the AGPA112 to the front of the Street 900 Twin from 2019 to 2024. The AGPA72 is also listed from 2016 to 2021; for 2019 to 2021 bikes, check the existing pads. One box fits the single front caliper, which makes swapping between compounds during a test day quick. The rear pad is AGPA76 for 2016 to 2025.
Road Approval
We have received no test documentation or German ABE for ZXC. These pads are sold for racing only.
