DescriptionThe whole story▼
For a Superdual that has become a race project, Accossato offers one more option at the front: the ceramic ZXC compound. The front pad AGPA112 is listed for the SWM Superdual from 2015 to 2018, catalogued by Accossato as Superdual 600, and this version uses the ZXC ceramic racing mixture. It is for owners who spend weekends in the paddock and who adjust their bike between sessions, not for daily rides.
Key Features
- Front pad AGPA112 for the SWM Superdual T, 2015 to 2018
- ZXC ceramic racing compound, article number AGPA112ZXC
- Accossato: a ceramic compound ideal for racing
- For circuit weekends and set-up work
- Not intended as a road or touring pad
- Suits riders who log how their brakes behave
- Also offered as OR, ST, EV1 and EV2
Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's words, ZXC is a ceramic compound ideal for racing. The company does not publish the formulation, and we do not speculate about it here. What matters for the rider is the purpose: steady performance at race temperatures across a full weekend. Accossato states that all its pads combine limited wear, restrained heating and fade, and strong stopping.
Working in the Paddock
Between sessions, racers note what the bike did and what needs changing. With a ceramic race pad the brake becomes part of that list: how the lever felt after five laps, whether the bite changed as the day got warmer, whether the lever position needs adjusting.
Good habits help. Clean the caliper only with brake cleaner, keep lubricants away from the disc, and look at the pads after every outing. A converted Superdual may run an unusual set-up, so confirm that the front wheel and caliper are still the original parts listed for AGPA112.
Keep a simple notebook in the van: date, track, pad set, laps completed and how the lever felt. Over a season those notes show when a set is near the end of its useful life and help you decide whether the ceramic mixture suits your riding style.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA112 is listed by Accossato for the front caliper of the SWM Superdual, 2015 to 2018, named Superdual 600 in the catalogue. The matching rear pad is AGPP91. Replace both pads together, clean the pistons before retracting them, and pump the lever until it is firm before rolling out of the pit.
Road Approval
There are no ABE or German approval papers for this pad in our files. It is intended purely for racing.
