For the few riders who race a Suzuki GSX-S1000GT seriously, fine-tuning the brakes is part of getting the heavy tourer to work on a circuit. AGPA106 in the ZXC ceramic racing mixture is Accossato's ceramic front pad for the GSX-S1000GT from 2022 to 2026. It offers a second racing option for teams and privateers who like to compare compounds over a weekend, adjust the setup session by session and choose the pad that suits their track and their rider.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes ZXC as a ceramic compound ideal for racing. It is an alternative to the conventional racing pad for those who want a different feel at the lever. The general properties Accossato gives its pads, low wear, limited heating and little fade, and strong stopping force, apply to ZXC too.
Tuning the Brakes of a Racing Tourer
Setting up a GSX-S1000GT for competition means dealing with its weight and its touring geometry. The brakes are one area where small changes can make a big difference to rider confidence. Try the ceramic set in a practice session after running the conventional pads, keeping everything else the same, and write down how the lever feels on the first application, in the middle of a heavy stop and on release. When fitting, clean the pistons before pushing them back, keep the friction surfaces free of solvent and grease, and pump the lever until it is firm before the bike leaves the box.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list for AGPA106 includes the GSX-S 1000 GT, 2022 to 2026. There are two calipers on the GT's front wheel, and each box is one caliper's set, so two boxes are needed. For the rear, Accossato offers AGPP88, and DK251 is the disc. The pad also comes as Sintered, EV1 street/track and EV2 racing.
