DescriptionThe whole story▼
ZXC ceramic racing is Accossato's ceramic compound for motorsport, and front pad AGPA92 is available in this mixture for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, listed for the 2023 model year. It is a specialist choice for owners who have prepared their cruiser for competition, perhaps for a custom-bike race series or a demonstration event, and who want to fine-tune the front brake throughout a weekend with their team in the paddock.
Key Features
- Front pads AGPA92 for Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 (2023)
- ZXC ceramic racing compound, SKU AGPA92ZXC
- Accossato: a ceramic compound ideal for racing
- Designed for complete race weekends
- Aims for consistent lever feel in every session
- OR, ST, EV1 and EV2 are also available on this plate
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls ZXC ceramic racing a ceramic compound that is ideal for racing. On a heavy cruiser prepared for the track, the front brake heats up quickly and must stay consistent across several sessions, and this compound is designed with that load in mind. Accossato, which is based in Villastellone near Turin today, also aims for long wear, limited fading and a strong stopping effect.
Tuning the Front Brake Over a Weekend
During a race weekend, riders learn where they can brake later and how the Super Meteor 650's long chassis reacts under load. A pad that does not change character from session to session ensures that these observations remain reliable.
In the pit box, record the lever position, measure the remaining pad thickness and check the disc for uneven deposits. If the lever travel increases during the day, bleed the system before the next outing.
After the Event
Clean the caliper and inspect the pistons once the weekend is over. If the bike is going back on the road, make sure the disc is clean and the brake feels consistent before riding in traffic.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's listing covers the front of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 with AGPA92 in the 2023 model year only; other pads or discs are not listed for this model. The bike has one front caliper on a single disc, so one box is sufficient. Pump the lever until firm before rolling out.
Road Approval
As no ABE or German approval mark is available to us for this ceramic pad, it is sold for racing purposes.
Scope of Delivery
Two ZXC ceramic racing pads for the single front caliper.
