DescriptionThe whole story▼
A Dragster RR 800 used purely on circuits, whether a 2015 to 2022 standard bike or an LH44 or Pirelli edition, can run Accossato's ZXC ceramic racing compound at the front. This set is for teams and privateers who treat the brakes as part of the setup sheet and adjust them over a whole race weekend.
Key Features
- ZXC ceramic racing front pads for the Dragster RR 800, LH44 and Pirelli
- Listed 2015 to 2022
- Ceramic compound ideal for racing, per Accossato
- For circuit-only Dragsters
- Alternative racing pad to EV2
- Two pads in each box for one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
ZXC is described by Accossato as a ceramic compound ideal for racing. It belongs on track. As with every Accossato pad, the goals are long life, fade kept away by controlling temperatures and high stopping power. The company today works from Villastellone near Turin.
Brakes on the Setup Sheet
A privateer running a Dragster RR at club level tends to change one thing at a time: tyre pressures, rebound damping, lever reach. The front pads belong on that list too. The ceramic ZXC set suits riders who log how the lever feels at the start and end of each session and how quickly the pads wear on a given circuit. Some switch between it and EV2 depending on the track. For road riding, OR, ST or EV1 fit better. A short wheelbase and strong weight transfer make the Dragster pitch hard under heavy stops, so a front brake that can be released smoothly into the corner is at least as important as the initial bite.
Pit Box Checks
Change both front sets together and bed them in progressively. Measure pad thickness after each session and look for heat marks on the discs. Bleed the system if lever travel grows, and clean the pistons before pushing them back.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA96 in ZXC is catalogued for the front of the Brutale 800 Dragster RR (2015 to 2022) and the Dragster RR LH44 and Pirelli (2018 to 2020). Check the shape if the calipers have been changed. The rear uses AGPA42. Two front calipers need two boxes. Special-edition bikes are often kept original and raced only rarely, but the pad shape is the same, so a collector who takes an LH44 to a parade lap can use it too.
Road Approval
These pads come without an ABE or test mark, which is why we offer them for racing and competition only.
Scope of Delivery
One box, two ceramic-compound pads, one caliper. No hardware.
