Accossato's ZXC ceramic racing compound offers another option for riders who compete with a Moto Guzzi V85TT and want to test different brake characters. These front pads fit the V85TT 850 from 2019 to 2023. They are intended purely for closed-course use, as an alternative race pad to try in practice before choosing a set-up for the event.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato builds ZXC on a ceramic base and describes it as a racing compound. It exists to give competitors a different brake character to choose from. The firm, today based at Villastellone near Turin, applies the same aims as for its other pads: steady grip, heat kept within limits and a long working life.
Testing on a Heavy Twin
A V85TT is heavier and has longer suspension travel than a typical race bike, so the way the front brake builds and releases pressure affects how the fork dives and recovers. A ceramic pad may change that behaviour. Try the ZXC set in a practice run, keep everything else unchanged, and note how the bike settles under heavy stops and how smoothly the brake releases into corners. Compare with your usual pads before deciding.
Changing Both Sides
Both front calipers need fresh pads at the same time. Let the calipers cool, clean the pistons before pushing them back, fit two boxes and pump the lever until it is firm.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the front brake of the Moto Guzzi V85TT 850 from 2019 to 2023. Accossato's list for this pad includes the V85 850 TT, the Evocative Graphics edition of 2023 and the Guardia d'Onore of 2022 to 2023. One box per caliper; the twin-disc front end takes two. The size also comes as OR, ST, EV1 and EV2. Accossato lists rear pad AGPA28 and disc DKS032 for this model.
Road Approval
We hold no German ABE or test certificate for these pads, so they are offered for racing and competition.
