For racers who want to try a different brake feel on a competition Moto Guzzi V7 Stone 850, Accossato offers the ZXC ceramic racing compound. These front pads fit the V7 Stone 850 from 2022 to 2023, a range that includes the V7 850 Stone Fast Endurance of 2022. They are intended for circuit use only, as an alternative race pad to evaluate in practice.

Construction and Material Quality
ZXC is Accossato's ceramic racing compound, offered as a further choice alongside its other race mixtures. Accossato, whose history includes an Enduro world title in 1985, designs it for consistent grip, moderate heating and long wear under competition conditions.
Comparing Race Pads on the 850
Choosing a race pad is part science, part rider preference. Fit the ZXC set on your V7 Stone 850 for one practice session, keep tyres and suspension unchanged, and note how the brake behaves at the heaviest stop and in the slow corners. Compare the initial bite, the build-up and the release with your usual pads, alongside lap times. That evidence makes the decision for qualifying and the race much easier.
Swapping Pads in the Pit
Allow the caliper to cool, clean the pistons with brake cleaner before pushing them back, fit the new set and pump the lever until it is firm. Complete an out lap with progressive stops before attacking. Keep used sets labelled with the number of laps they have done, so that the comparison stays fair next time.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the front brake of the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone 850 from 2022 to 2023. Accossato's list covers the V7 850 Stone and the V7 850 Stone Fast Endurance of 2022. One caliper per box; check how many your bike uses. OR, ST, EV1 and EV2 are alternative versions of this pad. The rear takes Accossato AGPA28; no disc is listed for this model.
