Accossato's ceramic racing pad is listed for the first-generation Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 as well. The ZXC ceramic racing version of front pad AGPA96 is aimed at owners who have turned their Stelvio into a competition machine for endurance events, closed-course days or twin-cylinder races. Accossato catalogues it for the Stelvio 1200 NTZ from 2009 to 2011 and the Stelvio 1200 8V SE from 2012 to 2016.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls its ZXC mixture a ceramic compound ideal for racing. It is designed for bikes whose front discs stay hot through long sessions, where the rider wants a consistent lever from the first lap to the last. On a stripped-down Stelvio 1200, which still carries plenty of weight into each braking zone, this is demanding work. Accossato, which took an enduro world title in 1985, also highlights low wear, controlled heat and resistance to fade for its pads.
Endurance and Closed-Course Events
Long sessions with a heavy bike put the front brake under sustained stress. With ZXC fitted, check the pads and discs between sessions, look for uneven wear and note how the lever feels. Clean the caliper pistons whenever the pads are removed, and use fresh fluid before the event.
Should the bike return to touring duty, the OR and ST versions of AGPA96 are the right choice again, while EV1 bridges road and track for riders who still like a sharp front brake on the way to the next event.
Fitment and Compatibility
This pad covers the Stelvio 1200 NTZ (2009 to 2011) and the Stelvio 1200 8V SE (2012 to 2016). The V100 Stelvio of 2024 onwards needs AGPA177. With two front calipers on the Stelvio 1200, a full set needs two boxes. The rear uses Accossato AGPA29, listed from 2009 to 2019, and the Accossato disc DKS032 is also catalogued for the Stelvio.
Road Approval
No German ABE or approval document has been provided to us for this pad, so it is offered for competition use only.
