The only published statement from Accossato on ZXC is that it is a ceramic compound ideal for racing. We do not add details it does not give. The practical meaning is simple: the pad is intended for competition, and on an Eldorado that means a bike built and used for events rather than weekend cruising. The maker's broader claims of durability, strong stopping and fade limited through controlled temperatures apply here as well. The ceramic layer is carried on the AGPA96 plate.
Building a Competition Eldorado
Owners who convert a retro cruiser for competition often keep the character of the original, such as the round headlamp and the V-twin's presence, while changing everything that affects speed and control. Brakes are high on that list, because a heavy bike needs dependable stopping power when ridden hard. A ceramic racing mixture is one option for such a build.
Make sure the rest of the system is ready too: fresh fluid, clean pistons and discs without deep grooves. Bed the pads in carefully before the first timed run or session.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues AGPA96 for the front of the Moto Guzzi Eldorado, listed as Eldorado 1400, across 2015 to 2017. The rear pad for the same bike is AGPA92. No Accossato disc is offered for the Eldorado. With two front calipers, a full set requires two boxes.
