The KTM 790 Adventure R of 2019 and 2020 can also take Accossato's ZXC ceramic racing front pad. Accossato presents ZXC as a ceramic compound ideal for racing. Like EV2, it belongs only on an Adventure R that has been converted for circuit use. Riders and mechanics who approach a race weekend methodically, testing brake compounds in practice and choosing according to track and temperature, can use ZXC as the ceramic option alongside EV2 in the same pad shape.

Construction and Material Quality
ZXC is Accossato's ceramic racing recipe. Its intended use is competition, and it shares the range's aims of strong stopping, heat control and slow wear. For the Adventure R, the friction face is bonded to a backing plate made for the front calipers.
Methodical Brake Testing
On a converted Adventure R, the brakes are one of the variables worth testing. A sensible approach is to run one compound in the first practice, another in the second, and compare lever feel, disc condition and lap times. ZXC provides the ceramic alternative in that comparison. Keep notes, label each used set, and decide per circuit rather than per habit.
In the Pit Box
Let the brakes cool, handle pads with clean hands, and keep brake cleaner away from the friction material. Replace both front pairs together. An Adventure R converted for the track weighs more than a dedicated race bike, so the front brakes store more heat per stop; watch the lever travel towards the end of each session and let the bike roll a slow lap before it returns to the pit box. Log the ambient and track temperatures next to each run so later comparisons stay honest.
Fitment and Compatibility
This pad is listed for the KTM 790 Adventure R, 2019 to 2020; Accossato refers to the ADVENTURE 790 R and R RALLY versions. Two boxes cover both front calipers. The corresponding Accossato rear pad is AGPA29.
Road Approval
We have no German ABE or test report for this pad and offer it for racing and competition only.
