Accossato offers its ZXC ceramic racing front pad for the KTM 690 SMC R from 2021 to 2024. Accossato calls ZXC a ceramic compound ideal for racing. For riders who compete on the latest SMC R, it is a second racing option next to EV2, with a different character at the lever. It belongs on a bike prepared for the track, ridden by someone who treats brake set-up as part of the job: trying compounds in practice and choosing the right one for each circuit and each race.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato recommends its ceramic compound, ZXC, for racing. The company's pads are built for strong braking, limited heat and slow wear. On the newest SMC R, ZXC's friction layer is bonded to a steel carrier cut for the current front caliper.
Choosing the Right Compound per Circuit
Some supermoto circuits are fast with a few heavy stops; others are tight and busy, with the front brake barely getting a rest. Racers who keep more than one compound in the van can adapt. ZXC gives owners of the latest SMC R a ceramic option to test against EV2. Run each in practice, compare lap times and lever feel, and decide on the basis of what you find.
Model Year Check
ZXC in this form is for the 2021 and later SMC R. Earlier bikes need pad AGPA112. Bed the pads in during an out-lap before pushing hard, and log how the lever felt at the end of each session.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists this pad for the SMC 690 R from 2021 to 2024. Earlier SMC and SMC R models use AGPA112 at the front. One box renews the single front caliper. At the rear, Accossato's pad AGPP91 fits this supermoto, and the brand lists its DK209 disc too.
