DescriptionThe whole story▼
Packing the van for a two-day event is an exercise in knowing what will be needed. Tyres, fuel, a folding chair, and a spare set of front pads that behave the same as the ones already in the calipers. Accossato supplies that set as article AGPA106ZXC, the AGPA106 front shape in the ZXC ceramic racing material, which the company calls a ceramic compound for racing. The entry covers the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S from 2020 to 2024.
Key Features
- Front pads for the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S, 2020 to 2024
- Article AGPA106ZXC: the AGPA106 shape with the ZXC ceramic racing material
- A ceramic compound placed by Accossato in competition use
- For events where Sunday has to feel like Saturday
- Slow wear is part of what the maker claims for its pads
- One box fills one caliper, and the front of the S has two
- ST, EV1 and EV2 sit on the same carrier for other jobs
- No German ABE recorded here; sold as a competition part
Construction and Material Quality
Ceramic materials are chosen by people who would rather adapt their riding to a pad than adapt a pad to their riding, and Accossato aims this one at competition without mentioning the road at all. On a Streetfighter V4 S that means the front is being set up like a race machine while the rest of the bike keeps its road equipment. Nothing about the caliper changes, since the AGPA106 carrier is shared across the family; what changes is how the front end reports back in the middle of a session, when everything is hot and nobody is being gentle.
What Goes in the Van
Two-day events punish the unprepared. Saturday runs late, the last session finishes in fading light, and whatever needed doing gets done under a work lamp with cold hands. Anyone who has spent an evening like that learns to arrive with spares laid out and a plan for the morning, because Sunday starts early and the first session out is usually the coldest one of the weekend.
The evening job itself is short. Take the pads out and look at them properly, check the disc for scoring and blueing while the wheel is off, and clean the pistons before they go back so nothing abrasive travels inwards. Pads go in as a pair, the fluid gets a glance, and the lever is pumped until it is firm. A new set then wants a few easy laps in the morning before the Streetfighter V4 S is asked for anything that will end up on a timing screen.
Fitment and Compatibility
Important: this pad fits the Streetfighter V4S from 2020 to 2024 only. The 2025 model uses a different front caliper and needs a different pad. The front application for the Streetfighter V4 S runs from 2020 to 2024 in Accossato's data, whereas the rear pad for the same machine, the AGPA42, is listed as far as 2026. Owners renewing both ends should therefore read the two lines separately. Two front calipers take two boxes. The disc reference given for this Ducati is the DKS036, and as ever the article number rather than the model name is what makes an order unambiguous.
Road Approval
There is no ABE and no German test documentation for the AGPA106ZXC in our records, so the article belongs to racing and closed-circuit use.
Scope of Delivery
Two AGPA106 pads in the ZXC ceramic racing material, boxed as one caliper's set. The Streetfighter V4 S runs two front calipers, so two boxes complete the axle.
