DescriptionThe whole story▼
Serious circuit riders keep notes. Tyre pressures, suspension clicks, fuel taken on, how the bike felt in the last three laps, and increasingly which friction material was in the calipers when it felt that way. Accossato supplies one of the entries for that page as article AGPA106ZXC: the AGPA106 front shape for the Ducati Streetfighter V4 in the ZXC ceramic racing material, a ceramic compound the company places squarely in competition. The years covered run from 2020 to 2024.
Key Features
- Front pads for the Ducati Streetfighter V4, 2020 to 2024
- AGPA106ZXC: the AGPA106 shape with the ZXC ceramic racing material
- A ceramic compound that Accossato intends for racing
- For riders who judge a session by how alike its laps are
- The list includes the 1103, the SP, the SP2 and the Lamborghini edition
- Two boxes make up the front axle, one for each caliper
- ST, EV1 and EV2 sit on the same carrier for other uses
- No German ABE held on file; supplied for competition
Construction and Material Quality
Ceramic friction materials have their own character, and riders who get on with them tend to talk about the way a session stays consistent rather than about the first stop of it. Accossato gives this one a single destination, racing, and leaves the road out of the description entirely. The plate behind it is the AGPA106 pressing common to the whole family, so the calipers of a Streetfighter V4 receive it without modification and a team can change direction between outings by changing a surface. Slow wear sits in Accossato's general description of its pads, which is worth something when one weekend contains many more heavy stops than a month of road riding.
Notes on a Set-Up Sheet
Working through a circuit day is a process of changing one thing at a time. A click of preload, two teeth on the sprocket, a different line through the second part of a chicane, and after each change the rider goes out to see whether the lap agrees. All of that depends on the parts that were not changed behaving the same way as before, and the brakes sit at the top of that list because they define the entry to every corner on the sheet.
The routine around the caliper is short and always the same. New material gets a few progressive stops before anyone reads a time from it, the disc is checked for scoring while the wheel is out, and the pistons are cleaned before they are pushed back so that nothing abrasive goes in with them. Pads are renewed as a pair, the fluid is looked at, and the lever is worked until it is firm before the Streetfighter V4 is pushed towards the pit exit.
Fitment and Compatibility
Important: this pad fits the Streetfighter V4 from 2020 to 2024 only. The 2025 model uses a different front caliper and needs a different pad. Accossato lists this front shape for the Streetfighter V4 across the seasons from 2020 to 2024 and names the 1103, the SP, the SP2 and the Lamborghini version inside that span. A caliper is served by one box and the bike carries two of them at the front. At the rear the AGPA42 continues to 2024, and the disc listed against the model is the DKS036. Since pad outlines are shared across brands and classes, the article number is the detail that removes doubt from an order.
Road Approval
Nothing in the way of an ABE or a German test certificate exists here for the AGPA106ZXC, which is why the article is offered for racing and closed-course use only.
Scope of Delivery
Two AGPA106 pads in the ZXC ceramic racing material, boxed as the set for one caliper. Two boxes complete the front axle of the Streetfighter V4.
