DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato offers more than one material for competition, and this is the ceramic one. The ZXC ceramic racing mixture rides on the same AGPA106 front carrier that the CFMOTO CL-X 700 SPORT uses in its road guises, catalogued for the 2022 model year, which gives the front of this roadster two possible answers for a closed course. Which of them suits a particular rider on a particular circuit is decided at the track, not in a product description.
Key Features
- AGPA106ZXC: front pads for the CFMOTO CL-X 700 SPORT in a ceramic racing mixture
- Catalogued for the 2022 model year
- Accossato presents ZXC ceramic racing as its ceramic option for competition
- ST, EV1 and EV2 are the other materials on this carrier
- A box holds the two pads one caliper takes
- Check the caliper count on your own front wheel before ordering
- Rear pads for this roadster: AGPA42, also 2022
- No German ABE documented; a part for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
What Accossato publishes about this material amounts to a single sentence: a ceramic mixture made for racing. There is nothing further on record, and we will not invent a comparison with the other competition version merely to fill a paragraph. The physical facts are all we can add, and they are simple. The carrier is the familiar AGPA106, the outline is untouched, the pad enters the front caliper of the CL-X 700 SPORT without modification, and each box holds the pair that one caliper requires.
Judging One Material Against Another
Riders who care about this sort of question end up running their own comparisons, and the only honest way to do it is to change one variable at a time. The same tyres, the same pressures, a similar fuel load, the same circuit and if possible the same weather, with notes written in the paddock rather than remembered on the way home. A stopwatch tells part of the story; the rider's hand tells the rest, in where the bite arrives, how much lever travel it takes and whether the tenth lap felt like the second.
The housekeeping around a test matters as much as the test itself. Bed a fresh set in before the comparison rather than during it, because new material behaves differently in its first few stops. Wipe the disc between runs. Note the state of the pads at the end of each session and write it down while it is still true. And when a set comes out again, keep the pair together and mark which way round they sat, so the next comparison starts from something known.
Fitment and Compatibility
This pad belongs to the front wheel of the CFMOTO CL-X 700 SPORT of 2022, the only season Accossato names for the AGPA106, and we do not extend a listing by implication. One box serves one caliper, both of its pads are changed at the same time, and the number of boxes follows from what your front wheel actually carries. At the back of this roadster the AGPA42 is catalogued for 2022; no Accossato brake disc exists for the model.
Road Approval
Neither a German ABE nor an approval mark has reached us for the AGPA106ZXC. It is therefore sold for closed courses and competition rather than for the road.
Scope of Delivery
