DescriptionThe whole story▼
Where the Z800 it replaced leaned towards an angular, aggressive look, the Z900 softened some of those lines while keeping the swingarm just as exposed, and Accossato's uncovered bobbin threads into the same M8 mounting holes without any difference in how it fits. A fork-style paddock stand locates on the two bobbins rather than the bare casting, whether the job in hand is a chain check, a tyre swap, or just lifting the bike off the ground to clean underneath it.
Key Features
- Swingarm stand bobbins for the Kawasaki Z900, 2017-2018

- Seven colours: blue, green, black, red, silver, titanium, gold

- ST008 is the same bobbin with rubber protection
- No German ABE on file; offered for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato starts with a block of aluminium, cuts an M8 thread sized to the Z900's own swingarm, and finishes the piece with an anodised coat in one of seven shades: blue, green, black, red, silver, titanium or gold. The colour belongs to that anodised layer rather than to anything applied afterwards, which is why it keeps its depth through ordinary handling rather than fading with age.
A Sharper Naked's Visible Swingarm
Kawasaki sharpened the Z900's lines over the Z800 it replaced, and that styling keeps the swingarm just as exposed to view, which means a bobbin chosen deliberately in colour reads as part of the bike's overall finish rather than an incidental fitting. Riders who care about how the Z900 looks parked up as much as how it rides tend to start with small, visible details like this one before moving on to anything larger.
Fitment and Compatibility
Kawasaki built the Z 900 this bobbin fits in 2017 and 2018 only. A shared M8 thread, rather than anything unique to the Z900, places it on the Z1000, Z1000SX, Z650 and Z800 elsewhere in Kawasaki's lineup, the ZX-10R and ZX-6R, and beyond the brand on the BMW S1000R and S1000RR, three Honda models and the Suzuki GSR750. ST008 adds rubber protection to the same fitment for this Z900.
Road Approval
No test or approval documents, including an ABE, are held for this bobbin, so it is offered for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The pack contains two bobbins, one per side, in the colour chosen at checkout. No stand or fitting tools travel with the pack.
