DescriptionThe whole story▼
A Z800 that gets taken to the occasional trackday as well as ridden on the road needs its stand hardware to work for both, and Accossato's uncovered M8 bobbins thread into the swingarm's existing holes to give a fork-style stand the same two fixed points whether the bike is in a home garage or a circuit paddock. Machined from aluminium and anodised to order, the pair asks nothing extra of the swingarm beyond what it already has, with no drilling or modification needed either way before the first use.

Construction and Material Quality
Aluminium forms the body of this bobbin, cut with an M8 thread for the Z800's swingarm and anodised in seven colours: blue, green, black, red, silver, titanium and gold. The colour sits in that anodised layer, applied once machining is finished rather than as a separate coating liable to wear away under ordinary handling.
One Bike, Two Uses
Splitting time between road riding and the occasional circuit day means a Z800's stand hardware gets used in two quite different settings, a quiet home garage and a busier paddock, and bobbins that work reliably in both without needing anything different keep that split simple. The same pair that holds the bike steady for a chain check at home locates a fork-style stand just as cleanly at a trackday, with nothing to swap or adjust between the two.
Fitment and Compatibility
This bobbin matches the Z 800's own production run, 2013 to 2016. An M8 swingarm thread rather than anything particular to this bike also puts it on the Z1000, Z1000SX, Z650 and Z900 within Kawasaki's range, the ZX-10R and ZX-6R, the BMW S1000R and S1000RR, three Honda models and the Suzuki GSR750. AD014, the fork preload adjuster, and the rubber-protected ST008 are also listed for this Z800.
Road Approval
No test or approval documents, including an ABE, are held for this bobbin, so it is offered for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
The pack holds two bobbins, one per side, in the colour chosen at checkout. No stand or fitting tools travel with the pack.
