DescriptionThe whole story▼
Youth motocross does not stop for the weather, and a Yamaha YZ65 often races on soaked tracks in spring and autumn. For its rear brake from 2019 to 2024, Accossato offers the AGPA111 pad in the Sintered (ST) compound. It is meant for young racers who compete through the whole season and need a rear brake that feels the same on a cold, wet morning as on a warm afternoon. Accossato describes the material as keeping high, constant grip and working well in the wet.
Key Features
- Rear pads for the Yamaha YZ65, 2019 to 2024
- AGPA111 outline in the Sintered (ST) compound, code AGPA111ST
- High, constant grip across temperatures, per Accossato
- Good grip on a wet disc
- Two pads per box for the rear caliper
- Also listed in the OR compound
- No German ABE held; for competition use
Construction and Material Quality
The sintered AGPA111 carries Accossato's all-conditions material. The company says it keeps grip high and constant at low and high temperatures and grips well in the wet. For a young rider on a YZ65 who is still building confidence, a rear brake that does not change its behaviour with the weather is a real help. The pads are built for long life and low fade. Each box contains two pads for one caliper.
Race Days in the Rain
A wet youth race is hard enough without a brake that feels different each lap. Sintered pads are chosen so the rear responds predictably even when soaked, letting a young rider concentrate on lines and starts. Parents who travel to races across the season often prefer this all-weather option. For relaxed practice and learning, the OR version is the gentler choice.
Care After Racing
Rinse mud from the rear caliper after each wet event and let it dry. When changing pads, check the disc thickness, clean the pistons before pushing them back and pump the pedal until firm. Make a few slow test stops before the next session.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AGPA111 fits the rear of the Yamaha YZ65 from 2019 to 2024, according to Accossato. No other Accossato pads or discs are listed for this model in our data. Accossato's version list labels the bike YZ 60, while its fitment data places the pad on the YZ65 of these years.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test certificate is on file for this pad. As for the YZ65 itself, it is intended for competition and closed courses.
Scope of Delivery
Two sintered rear pads in one box, the set for the YZ65 rear caliper.
