When an MT-09 Street Rally goes on tour with luggage and a passenger, the rear brake takes on a bigger role. Accossato's AGPP88ST is the sintered rear pad for the Street Rally from 2014 to 2016. It is chosen for grip that stays steady in cold and heat and holds up on a wet disc, which suits riders who travel far, ride in all weathers or regularly carry a pillion.

Construction and Material Quality
The sintered AGPP88 is described by Accossato as keeping a high and stable grip level from cold to hot and gripping well when wet. On a touring Street Rally, the rear brake may go unused for long stretches and then be needed suddenly in rain, so that stability is valuable. Accossato's aims of durability and reduced fade apply.
The Rear Pedal on a Loaded Tourer
With a passenger and luggage, the Street Rally's weight moves rearwards, and the rear tyre can handle more braking force. Using the rear brake deliberately on descents and wet roads helps keep the bike stable and reduces the load on the front. A sintered rear pad keeps the pedal feel consistent through changing conditions. Before a long trip, check the remaining pad material and the age of the fluid. On the way, clean the rear caliper after very wet or dusty days, and keep an eye on the pedal feel as the pads wear.
Fitment and Compatibility
The Street Rally's rear caliper, across 2014 to 2016, takes the AGPP88 in Accossato's catalogue, while the front takes the AGPA97. One box is enough for the rear. Clean the piston before retracting it, look at the disc for grooves and measure it if in doubt, and check the fluid. The DK077 and DKS073 discs also appear on Accossato's list for this model. Work the pedal until it is firm, then bed in with gentle stops.
Road Approval
No German ABE or approval documents for the AGPP88ST are on file with us, so it is sold for track and competition use.
