DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Moto Guzzi V85TT Travel is designed for long journeys with luggage and often a passenger, and on such trips the rear brake does a significant share of the work. Accossato's Sintered rear pads fit the V85TT Travel from 2020 to 2023 and are designed to keep a consistent pedal feel from cold to hot and in the rain.
Key Features
- Sintered (ST) rear pads for the Moto Guzzi V85TT Travel
- For model years 2020 to 2023
- Accossato: constant grip at high and low temperatures
- Good response in wet conditions
- Made for loaded touring and two-up riding
- Two pads for the rear caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says its Sintered compound keeps a high, uniform grip level from cold to hot and bites well in the wet. At the rear of a fully loaded V85TT Travel, that consistency gives a pedal you can trust on long descents and in bad weather. The pad is designed to limit fade and to wear slowly.
Full Panniers, Long Descents
With panniers, a top box and a passenger, more weight sits over the rear wheel, which makes the rear brake more effective and more useful. On a long descent, using it alongside engine braking helps keep the bike level and the front brake cooler. The Sintered compound is intended to hold the same pedal feel as the rear disc heats up and to respond predictably when rain arrives.
On the Road
Check the rear pads every couple of days on a long trip, keep the disc clean and look at the fluid level. If the pedal feels different, stop and inspect before continuing. Replace pads in pairs and bed in new ones with progressive stops.
Pillion Comfort
A passenger feels every jerk of the bike. A rear brake that engages smoothly and predictably helps make stops gentle and keeps helmets from knocking together at every junction.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the rear caliper of the Moto Guzzi V85TT Travel from 2020 to 2023, which Accossato lists as V85 850 TT Travel. The same rear pad is also offered in OR. Accossato lists front pad AGPA96 for the bike; no disc is listed.
Road Approval
We hold no German ABE or test documents for these pads and sell them for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
