DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's Sintered rear pads for the Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario 750 from 2017 to 2018 are designed for owners who ride in all conditions, tour with luggage or take a passenger along. The compound keeps a consistent pedal feel whether the disc is cold or hot, and it continues to work when the road is wet.
Key Features
- Sintered (ST) rear pads for the Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario 750
- Model years 2017 to 2018
- Accossato: consistent grip at low and high temperatures
- Dependable response in the wet
- Useful for two-up riding and luggage
- Two pads for the rear caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato states that the Sintered compound provides high, even grip across a broad temperature range and performs well on wet surfaces. At the back of an Anniversario that is ridden through the seasons, that translates into a predictable pedal and a pad that resists fade. It is also built for long wear.
Sharing the Ride
A classic Italian twin is a lovely way to spend a day with a partner on the back, and extra weight at the rear makes the rear brake more useful. With the Sintered compound, the pedal is intended to respond evenly whether you are rolling down a steep village street or coming to a stop in the rain. Before a longer trip, check the rear pads, look at the fluid and make sure the pedal returns cleanly. If the pedal feels soft after a pad change, pump it and check the fluid level before riding.
Rear Brake on Long Descents
On a long mountain descent with a passenger, many riders lean on the rear brake to take load off the front. That generates steady heat, and a compound that keeps its grip level as the disc warms is reassuring here. Use engine braking as well, and avoid resting your foot on the pedal between bends, since light constant drag heats the rear system without adding much control. Pull over for a few minutes if the pedal starts to feel different, and let everything cool before continuing.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the rear brake of the Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario 750 from 2017 to 2018, listed by Accossato as V7 III 750 Anniversario. The rear pad also comes in the OR compound. Accossato lists front pad AGPA96 for this model; no disc is listed for it.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test documentation is available to us for these pads. We supply them for racing and competition use.
