DescriptionThe whole story▼
Touring on a Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX, SE or SE+ from 2018 to 2026 often means riding two-up with full panniers and facing whatever weather the trip brings. Accossato's AGPA76 rear pad for the SX family in the Sintered mixture is made for that kind of use: it keeps its grip level in the cold, in the heat and in the rain, and it helps control a heavily loaded bike.
Key Features
- Rear pads AGPA76 for the Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX, SE and SE+, 2018 to 2026
- Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA76ST
- Constant high grip in cold and warm conditions, says Accossato
- Reliable in the rain
- Good control of a loaded bike
- Suited to two-up touring
- Organic (OR) also made on this plate
- No ABE on file with us; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes the Sintered compound as keeping a high grip level across temperatures and gripping well in the wet. On a loaded SX, the rear brake does more work than on a solo bike, especially on descents and in slow manoeuvres. The Sintered pad is designed to handle this reliably. Accossato also mentions slow wear, heat control against fade and strong braking.
Two-Up Touring
With a passenger and luggage, more weight sits on the rear wheel of the SX, and the rear brake becomes more effective and more important. It helps slow the bike smoothly without pitching it forward, which the passenger will appreciate. On mountain descents, a light touch on the rear brake can steady the bike in hairpins.
Check the rear pad thickness before every long trip. A loaded bike wears the rear pads faster than a solo one.
Rain on Tour
When rain arrives on a tour, slow down, increase the distance to the vehicle in front and brake early and gently. A Sintered rear pad gives the same response on a wet disc, which helps maintain control.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato ties the AGPA76 rear plate to all three SX trims built from 2018 to 2026: the SX, the SX SE and the SX SE+. The H2, H2 Carbon and H2 R use AGPA42 at the rear. At the front, AGPA106 and AGPA109 are listed. One box is enough for the rear caliper.
Road Approval
AGPA76ST has no ABE or German approval certificate in our records. It is sold for competition use.
