DescriptionThe whole story▼
For owners who ride their Kawasaki Z900RS SE far and in all weathers, Accossato lists the AGPP88 rear pad in the Sintered (ST) compound, for the SE from 2022 to 2026. The sintered mix gives the rear brake a firm, consistent response in rain and cold, and it copes well with the added weight of a passenger or luggage. It suits the SE owner who sees the bike as a rider's machine rather than a showpiece.
Key Features
- Sintered (ST) compound, rear position
- Kawasaki Z900RS SE, 2022 to 2026
- High, even grip across temperatures
- Good bite in the wet, per Accossato
- Suited to pillion, luggage and all-weather riding
- Two pads for the rear caliper
- Organic (OR) option in the same shape
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes its sintered compound as delivering a high grip level that stays constant between cold and hot, together with good bite on a wet disc. For the rear of an SE that is used for real journeys, that consistency is useful. The brand also designs its pads for modest wear, a long life and limited heating.
A Rider's SE
Premium parts do not have to mean a garage queen. Many Z900RS SE owners take their bikes on long trips, ride with a partner on the back and do not cancel plans because of rain. A sintered rear pad fits that approach, keeping the pedal consistent on wet mountain roads and during long, loaded descents. Before a trip, check pad thickness and the rear fluid level, and clean the disc. Clean the piston before pushing it back when fitting new pads, and bed them in on local roads before you set off. Afterwards, rinse the caliper and look for uneven wear.
Fitment and Compatibility
Rear brake only: in Accossato's catalogue this pad appears as Z 900 RS SE (2022-2026), and the SE's single rear caliper takes one box. Nothing here speaks for the front of the SE, whose pads you will need to find under their own listing. Riders who mainly potter around town can pick the Organic (OR) edition of the AGPP88 instead, while those who tour will be well served by this sintered set.
Road Approval
Without an ABE or test mark in our possession, these pads are offered for racing and competition use.
