Loaded with a tail pack for a weekend in the hills, or carrying a passenger along a coastal road, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 shifts more weight onto its rear wheel. The back brake then plays a bigger part, particularly on damp roads where you want to settle the bike gently before the front takes over. Accossato's rear pad AGPP91 in the Sintered compound, SKU AGPP91ST, is designed for those conditions and is listed for model years 2019 to 2020. It suits touring riders and those who ride all year.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says its Sintered mixture holds a high and constant level of grip at both low and high temperatures and works well in the wet. On the rear of a Svartpilen 701 heading into changeable weather, that means a pedal that responds the same after a rain shower as on a dry morning. The material is carried on the AGPP91 plate, a direct fit for the rear caliper.
Pillion Trips and Grey Skies
A passenger adds weight, and a good rider uses the rear brake to keep stops smooth so the pillion is not thrown forward. The Sintered pad gives the Svartpilen 701 a firm, predictable pedal for that, and it keeps its character when the road is wet or covered in leaves. Riders who do not store the bike for winter will find the same steadiness on cold, murky commutes.
After wet rides, rinse dirt off the caliper, dry the disc and check the fluid level regularly.
Fitment and Compatibility
Our data list AGPP91 for the rear of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 in 2019 and 2020, while Accossato's own table starts at 2018; for 2021 there is no rear listing. At the front, the matching pad is AGPA96, and the disc DK209 is available too. Measure the old pads and compare shapes before fitting this set to the Svartpilen 701.
Road Approval
An ABE or approval certificate for these Sintered pads is not available to us, so they are sold for track use.
