DescriptionThe whole story▼
Riders who choose the Kawasaki Z500 SE often use it for more than the commute: weekend trips with a tank bag and tail pack, rides with a friend on the back and early-season outings in cold, wet weather. For that broader role Accossato offers the AGPA77 pad in the Sintered (ST) compound, listed for the Z500 SE from 2024 to 2026 for both front and rear calipers.
Key Features
- Sintered (ST) compound for front or rear
- Kawasaki Z500 SE, 2024 to 2026
- High, constant grip across temperatures
- Wet-disc performance noted by Accossato
- Suits luggage, pillion and early-season rides
- Two pads for one caliper
- Organic (OR) version in the same shape
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato states that the sintered compound keeps a high, constant grip level whether cold or hot and performs well in the wet. On a Z500 SE carrying a tail pack or a passenger, that predictability is useful. Accossato also designs its pads to wear slowly, last a long time and keep heat under control to avoid fade.
Tank Bag, Tail Pack and Spring Rain
The first rides of spring are often cold and damp, and a loaded Z500 SE needs brakes that respond without hesitation. A sintered pad does exactly that, giving a firm lever and pedal even before the bike is properly warm. With luggage or a passenger aboard, use both brakes smoothly and give yourself more distance. Before the season starts, check the pads, clean the calipers and refresh the brake fluid if it has turned dark. Pads that have sat through a damp winter may carry a thin layer of corrosion on the disc, which the first few stops will clear. Ride gently for the first few outings after fitting, and give the new pads time to settle into the disc surface before you rely on them on a descent.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA77 for the Kawasaki Z500 SE from 2024 to 2026 (Z 500 SE 2024-2026), front and rear. The SE runs a single front disc: one box for the front caliper, another for the rear. The DK271 disc is the Accossato disc listed for this bike, and the same pad also exists in Organic (OR).
Road Approval
With no ABE or test mark on record for these pads, we sell them for racing and competition use.
