DescriptionThe whole story▼
Many Kawasaki Z250SL owners use the little single as an all-weather commuter, and some take it out on winding country roads at the weekend. For them Accossato offers the AGPA77 pad in the Sintered (ST) compound, listed for the Z250SL from 2015 to 2017. It fits both the front and the rear caliper, and the sintered mix gives a firm, consistent response in the wet, on cold mornings and after a long descent from a hilltop village.
Key Features
- Sintered (ST) compound for front or rear
- Fits the Kawasaki Z250SL, 2015 to 2017
- Stable grip level from cold to hot
- Works well in the wet, says Accossato
- Suited to all-weather and weekend riding
- Two pads per box, one caliper
- Organic (OR) alternative in the same shape
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the sintered compound holds a high and constant grip level whether the pads are cold or hot, and adds that it performs well in wet conditions. On a small single that may be ridden in every season, that stability helps. The maker also claims low wear and a long working life for its pads, plus restrained heat build-up to keep fade under control.
Wet Lanes and Weekend Loops
Country lanes are often damp in the shade even on a sunny day, and a small bike like the Z250SL can easily cover a long loop through them on a Sunday. A sintered pad keeps the front brake predictable when the surface changes without warning. It also suits riders who keep riding through November. Before a wet season, make sure the pads have plenty of material left and that the caliper slides and pistons are clean, so the pads release properly after each stop.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA77 for the Kawasaki Z250SL from 2015 to 2017 (Z 250 SL 2015-2017), for the front and rear caliper alike. With a single front disc, the bike needs one box for the front and one for the rear if you change both. The same shape comes in Organic (OR) for purely urban use. Fit new pads to a clean, grease-free disc and bed them in gently.
Road Approval
We cannot point to an ABE or test mark for these pads, so we offer them for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
