DescriptionThe whole story▼
The rally look of the MT-09 Street Rally invites longer rides, and some owners use theirs for exactly that: multi-day trips with soft luggage, crossing mountain ranges and riding whatever weather the day brings. For such a Street Rally from 2014 to 2016, Accossato recommends the AGPA97ST in the Sintered (ST) compound. It is designed to give a high, consistent grip level from cold to hot and to grip well on a wet disc.

- For multi-day trips, luggage and changing weather
- One box per caliper; the Street Rally has two front calipers
- Plate also available as OR, EV1, EV2 and ZXC
- Sold for track and competition; no German ABE
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's sintered compound is intended for riders who meet a wide range of conditions. The company describes a high, stable grip from cold to hot and good behaviour on a wet disc. On a Street Rally that is loaded for a trip, that means the front brake feels familiar at every stage of the journey. Like all Accossato pads, it is designed for slow wear and resistance to fade.
Packing for a Multi-Day Trip
Planning a trip on a Street Rally involves more than routes and hotels. The brakes will work harder with luggage on board, especially on long mountain descents. Before leaving, make sure the front pads have plenty of material left, check the discs, and replace the fluid if it is more than a year or two old. Pack a small tool kit that allows you to remove the calipers if needed. On the road, use engine braking on long descents and let the brakes cool when you can. Sintered pads maintain their grip well on wet days, but ride smoothly and leave extra distance in rain.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA97 for the front of the MT-09 Street Rally from 2014 to 2016, and the AGPP88 for the rear. Because it has two front calipers, a full front change requires two boxes. Clean the pistons, measure the discs and look at the fluid before fitting. The DK077 and DKS073 discs are also on Accossato's list for this model. Pump the lever until firm and bed in the pads steadily.
Road Approval
No German ABE or approval documents for this pad are available to us. The AGPA97ST is therefore sold for circuit and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
One box with two Accossato AGPA97 pads in the Sintered (ST) compound, one set for a single front caliper of the MT-09 Street Rally.
