DescriptionThe whole story▼
A Triumph Trident 660 that is ridden all year meets rain, cold mornings and wet leaves on the road, and its front pads have to cope with all of it. Accossato's AGPA72 in the Sintered (ST) compound is meant for that rider. The company describes it as holding a high, steady grip level at both low and high temperatures, with good performance in the wet. It is listed for the Trident 660 from 2021 to 2025.
Key Features
- AGPA72 front pad, Accossato Sintered (ST) compound
- Listed for the Triumph Trident 660, 2021-2025
- Accossato: high and constant grip whatever the temperature, strong in the wet
- Built for all-year riding, rain and cold
- Consistent lever feel with a passenger or luggage
- Box contains two pads for one front caliper
- Alternatives on this pad: OR, EV1, EV2
Construction and Material Quality
The sintered compound is Accossato's answer to changing conditions. Its stated purpose is consistency: the same grip when the pad is cold as when it is hot, and a reliable bite on a wet disc. Beyond that, Accossato claims the familiar list for its pads: they wear slowly, they are designed to limit heat and fade, and they stop the bike firmly when asked.
Riding Through Every Season
Plenty of Trident 660 owners do not put the bike away in October. They ride to work in the rain, take weekend trips with a passenger and deal with cold tarmac in the mornings. For them, the ST compound is the logical front pad: the bite you feel on a dry summer evening should be the same on a grey, wet commute. A pillion and a tail bag add weight, and a steady pad keeps the lever travel predictable when the bike is loaded. If your Trident mostly handles short dry trips in town, the Organic version is gentler; for faster road riding with track days, look at EV1.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA72 for the Trident 660, model years 2021 to 2025, with AGPP89 as the matching rear pad. The bike has two front calipers, so order two boxes to do the whole front. Before winter, check disc thickness and fluid condition, change both front calipers together and clean the pistons before pressing them back. After fitting, pump the lever and bed the pads in with gradual stops.
Road Approval
No ABE or Prüfzeichen documentation exists on our side for the AGPA72ST. We sell it for racing and competition.
