AGPA29ST is Accossato's Sintered front pad for the Triumph Tiger 800 XCA, listed for the 2018 model year. It suits riders who take the XCA on long rides in changing weather: autumn tours, wet mountain roads, cold spring mornings. The Sintered compound is designed to keep the front brake's grip high and consistent in both cold and heat, and to bite reliably on a wet disc.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says its Sintered compound holds a high and stable grip level whatever the temperature and grips well on wet discs. For the front of a Tiger 800 XCA ridden in all seasons, that consistency is what makes the brake feel familiar every time. The maker also designs its pads for slow wear and resistance to fade.
Autumn in the Mountains
Autumn is a rewarding season for touring, with quiet roads and changing colours, but it also brings wet leaves, cold tarmac and sudden showers. On a Tiger 800 XCA crossing a pass, the front brake needs to respond the same way on the wet, cold descent as on the dry climb. The Sintered compound is designed to give that consistency. It also suits riders carrying luggage or a passenger, when the front brake has more weight to slow, and those who simply refuse to put the bike away when the clocks go back.
After Wet Rides
Let the brakes dry, rinse off road grime and check the pads for uneven wear. Keep the discs free of oil and cleaning products.
Fitment and Compatibility
Only the 2018 XCA appears next to AGPA29 in Accossato's data; owners of a 2015, 2016 or 2017 bike need the other front pad, AGPA72, instead. Whatever the year, the back wheel is served by AGPP89, listed from 2015 through 2020. Each box fits one caliper, so look at the fork of your XCA and count the calipers before placing the order.
Road Approval
There is no ABE and no test mark for AGPA29ST. We sell it for racing and competition use.
