For the Triumph Tiger 800 XCA of 2015 to 2017, Accossato offers the front pad AGPA72 in its Sintered compound: AGPA72ST. It is designed for XCA owners who ride two-up with full luggage and in every season. A loaded adventure bike asks more of its front brake, and this compound is intended to keep grip high and constant, from cold starts to long, hot descents, and in the wet.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato says the Sintered compound maintains a high, uniform grip level at high and low temperatures and grips well in the wet. On the front of a loaded Tiger 800 XCA, that consistency makes each stop easier to judge. Accossato also designs its pads to wear slowly and limit fade.
Two-Up With Full Luggage
A Tiger 800 XCA packed for a two-week trip with a passenger carries a lot of extra weight. Every stop requires more from the front brake, especially on long descents where you are on and off the lever for many minutes. A pad that stays consistent as the disc heats up, and that grips reliably when it rains, suits this kind of touring. The Sintered compound is designed for that. It also suits riders who commute through the winter, when cold, wet roads are the norm, because the same steady bite that helps on an alpine descent helps on a dark, drizzly ring road.
Touring Checks
Before a big trip, check the pads, discs and fluid. On the road, check pad thickness every few days, especially after long descents, and carry the pad reference with you.
Fitment and Compatibility
Three model years are covered by AGPA72 on the XCA front wheel: 2015, 2016 and 2017. From 2018 Accossato switches this bike to the front pad AGPA29, so check the registration document first. Rear pads for the whole period from 2015 to 2020 come as AGPP89. A box of AGPA72ST fills one caliper, and the number of calipers on your fork decides how many boxes you need.
Road Approval
AGPA72ST has no German ABE and no test certificate in our files. It is sold for racing and competition.
