DescriptionThe whole story▼
A top box, a pair of panniers and a daily ride of any length make the Triumph Street Twin a practical all-season commuter. Loaded like that, and ridden through wet months, the single front brake has to stay consistent under varying weight and weather. Accossato lists the AGPA112 front pad in Sintered (ST) compound for the Street Twin from 2019 to 2024, for riders who treat their bike as year-round transport.
Key Features
- AGPA112 front pads for the Triumph Street Twin, 2019 to 2024
- Sintered (ST) compound, article AGPA112ST
- For loaded commuting and wet-weather riding
- Accossato cites steady grip at both high and low temperatures
- Also strong in the wet, according to the maker
- One box renews the single front caliper
- Supplied for competition use; no German ABE
Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's description the ST mix maintains high, constant grip across hot and cold conditions and performs well in the wet. On the AGPA112 plate of a later Street Twin used as a workhorse, that means one less variable to think about when the rain starts. Accossato also cites longevity and limited heat build-up among the general aims of its pads.
A Loaded Commuter
Luggage adds weight at the back and changes how the bike pitches under braking, while a heavy laptop bag in a top box can make stops feel longer. A front pad whose bite does not drift with temperature gives the rider a consistent reference point. Pack heavy items low and forward where possible, and remember that stopping distances grow with load.
Wet-Month Routine
Through winter, rinse the front caliper after salty rides, check pad thickness monthly and watch the fluid colour. At replacement, clean the piston before pressing it home, fit both pads together and pump the lever until firm. A few steady stops on a dry day bed the new set in before the next wet commute. If the lever begins to feel soft, have the system bled before continuing to ride in rain.
Fitment and Compatibility
For the Street Twin, which Accossato lists as Street 900 Twin, the AGPA112 is named at the front from 2019 to 2024. The AGPA72 is listed for 2016 to 2021 as well, so riders with a 2019 to 2021 bike should check which pad their caliper carries. With one front caliper, one box suffices. The rear pad is the AGPA76 for 2016 to 2025.
Road Approval
Test certificates and a German ABE are not available to us for this compound. We sell it for competition and circuit use.
