This Accossato front pad is made for the latest KTM 690 SMC R, model years 2021 to 2024, in the Sintered compound. The current SMC R is a sophisticated supermoto, and owners often use it as a versatile road bike: short tours, mountain loops, commuting in any weather. Accossato says Sintered keeps a high, even grip level whether cold or hot and grips well on wet discs. It is the front pad for riders who want one compound that copes with rain, a pillion or a laden tail pack without the lever changing its feel.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's Sintered formula is built around a stable friction level and good wet behaviour, according to the maker. On the newest SMC R, the pad's friction material is bonded to a steel plate cut for the current front caliper. Accossato's pads are designed to limit heat build-up, keeping the lever consistent through a long series of stops.
A Modern Supermoto as a Road Bike
Many owners of the latest SMC R find themselves riding further than expected: across a mountain range for lunch, to work every day, or on a two-day loop with a small bag. The front pad then meets every condition, from a wet morning to a hot descent. Sintered pads keep their character throughout. For track days EV1 is the step up, and EV2 or ZXC cover racing.
Fitting Notes
Make sure you have the 2021 or later bike before ordering, as the earlier SMC R uses a different pad. Clean the pistons, fit the pads, pump the lever to restore pressure and bed them in gradually.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists this pad for the SMC 690 R from 2021 to 2024. Earlier SMC and SMC R bikes (2007 to 2011, 2014 to 2020) use a different front pad, AGPA112. One box covers the single front caliper. For the rear, Accossato's AGPP91 fits this supermoto, and its DK209 disc is also listed for the model.
Road Approval
Test documents and a German ABE are not available to us for this pad, so we list it for competition use.
