Motocross does not stop for the weather, and the KTM 150 SX from 2009 to 2022 is often raced through wet autumn rounds and cold winter training days. For riders who keep going all year, Accossato offers the AGPA29 front pad in the Sintered compound. The maker says it keeps a high, constant grip level at low and high temperatures and grips well in the wet, which suits the conditions that a year-round motocross season brings.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato explains its Sintered compound through constancy: a grip level that stays high whether the disc is cold at the start of a practice session or hot after several laps, plus good performance when wet. For a motocross bike, where water, mud and changing temperatures are routine, that steadiness helps the rider trust the front brake. The friction face is bonded to the AGPA29 plate. The Italian manufacturer, founded in 1969, now works from Villastellone near Turin.
Winter Training on a Wet Track
Winter training often means heavy ground, puddles on the straights and a cold wind on the start gate. The front brake gets soaked on every lap, and the rider needs it to bite reliably when arriving at a slippery corner. A compound designed to work well in the wet makes that possible and helps the rider concentrate on lines and body position.
Cold and wet conditions also make maintenance more important. After each session, wash the caliper and check that the pads can still move freely. Look at the disc for scoring and at the fluid for discoloration. When changing pads, clean the piston before pushing it back and pump the lever until it is firm.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA29 for the front caliper of the KTM 150 SX from 2009 to 2022. At the rear, the Accossato AGPP80 fits the same years. The brand also offers the discs DK017, DK018 and DK259 for this bike. Organic, STMX and EV1 are the other AGPA29 compounds.
Road Approval
This Sintered set has no ABE or approval mark in our records and is sold for off-road competition.
