A fully loaded Kawasaki ZZR1400 on a European tour, with a passenger and luggage, asks a lot of its front brake, especially on mountain descents and in bad weather. Accossato's AGPA107 front pad in the Sintered mixture covers the ZZR1400 from 2006 to 2019, including ABS versions, and it is designed for riders who tour two-up in every season and need steady grip in the rain.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes the Sintered compound as offering high grip that remains constant from cold to hot and strong performance in the wet. On a loaded ZZR1400, the front brake has to stop a lot of mass, often in changing weather, and this consistency is a real advantage. Accossato also notes slow wear, limited heat against fade and strong braking power.
Alpine Tours Two-Up
On an alpine tour, a loaded ZZR1400 descends long passes with dozens of hairpins. The front brake heats up, and the weather at the top may be very different from the valley. A Sintered pad handles these changes without losing its bite, and its steady behaviour in the rain adds confidence when a storm catches the riders on the way down. Use engine braking to help, and brake firmly and briefly rather than dragging the lever. Discuss hand signals with your passenger before the trip, so they can tell you if they are uncomfortable on steep sections.
Check the pad thickness before the trip and take the bike for a fluid change if needed. On the trip, stop now and then to let the brakes and the riders cool down.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA107 is Accossato's front pad for the ZZR1400 from 2006 to 2019, with and without ABS. At the rear, AGPP143 is listed, and DK235 is the Accossato disc. Order two boxes, one for each front caliper of the ZZR1400.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or German approval documents for AGPA107ST. It is supplied for racing and circuit use.
