DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Kawasaki ZX-25R, sold from 2020 to 2023, brought a high-revving four-cylinder to the quarter-litre class and quickly found fans among younger riders and commuters who still want a sporting machine. Accossato's AGPA109 front pad in the Sintered mixture is for owners who ride their ZX-25R every day, whether the road is dry, wet or cold.
Key Features
- Front pads AGPA109 for the Kawasaki ZX-25R, 2020 to 2023
- Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA109ST
- Steady, high grip from cold starts to warm roads, says Accossato
- Dependable on rain-soaked streets
- Even feel through the seasons
- Good for a small sports bike used daily
- This plate is also sold in EV1, EV2 and ZXC
- No ABE on file; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes the Sintered compound as one that holds a high grip level largely independent of temperature and that remains effective when wet. On a light machine like the ZX-25R, which is often ridden short distances with a cold brake, that is a useful trait. Accossato adds that the pad wears slowly, resists fade by limiting heat and provides strong braking.
Every Day on a Quarter-Litre Four
The ZX-25R is small and light, so it is easy to ride in traffic and on commutes, but it is also quick enough to reward a good road. A daily rider will meet rain, cold mornings and wet leaves on the way to work. The Sintered set gives the front brake the same character in all of these conditions, which helps a newer rider build confidence.
For a rider who has just bought a ZX-25R, a pad change is also a good moment to learn the basics: check the pad thickness through the caliper window, keep an eye on the fluid reservoir and clean the discs with a proper brake cleaner rather than a general spray.
Riders who later start doing track days on their ZX-25R can keep these Sintered pads for the road and switch to a more sporting compound for the circuit. The two sets are easy to swap at home, and doing so keeps each compound in the job it was made for.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA109 for the front of the ZX-25R from 2020 to 2023. The rear pad for the same years is AGPP88. No Accossato disc is catalogued for the ZX-25R. A box covers one caliper, so check how many your bike carries before ordering.
Road Approval
There is no ABE or German approval mark for AGPA109ST on file with us. We offer it for competition use.
