DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Kawasaki ZX-10 RR, built in limited numbers from 2017 to 2024, is the race-focused sister of the regular ZX-10 R. Yet many owners keep theirs for the road, using it on sunny weekends and the odd tour. Accossato's AGPA106 front pad in the Sintered mixture suits those riders: it offers dependable grip without warming up and stays predictable if a shower catches the bike far from home.
Key Features
- Front pads AGPA106 for the Kawasaki ZX-10 RR, 2017 to 2024
- Sintered mixture, SKU AGPA106ST
- Accossato cites constant grip from cold to hot
- Keeps biting when the road is wet
- Ready to work from the first stop
- Sensible for an RR used mostly on public roads
- Also offered as EV1, EV2 and ZXC
- No ABE on file with us; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
According to Accossato, this compound keeps a high grip level that barely changes with temperature and holds on well when water reaches the disc. For a ZX-10 RR that may sit for a week and then be ridden on a cool morning, that behaviour takes away a lot of guesswork. Like all Accossato pads, it is also described as long-lasting and kind to wear, with heat kept in check to resist fade and a firm braking effect.
A Special Bike on Ordinary Roads
The RR carries a certain responsibility: owners want to enjoy it without taking unnecessary risks with a rare machine. On the road that often means rides that begin in early morning chill, a return on damp tarmac after a storm, or a long run home in fading light. The Sintered pad handles those conditions without asking for heat first. It gives the ZX-10 RR a front brake that behaves the same on every outing.
If the bike stands for long periods, move it every few weeks and apply the brakes gently before each ride to clear any surface film from the discs.
Fitment and Compatibility
AGPA106 is listed by Accossato for the front of the ZX-10 RR from 2017 to 2024. The rear pad for these years is AGPP39, and the Accossato disc catalogued for the RR is DKS041. The ZX-10 RR has two front calipers, which means two boxes for a complete front change.
Road Approval
No ABE or German test mark for AGPA106ST is available to us. We therefore offer the set for competition use.
Scope of Delivery
