DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Chief Bobber Dark Horse is Indian's stripped, blacked-out take on the new-generation Chief, with a bobber stance and a large V-twin. Accossato lists its AGPA38 front pad for this model in 2022 and 2023, and this set carries the Sintered (ST) compound. It is for owners who ride their Bobber Dark Horse through all seasons and want a front brake that stays consistent in rain, cold and summer heat.
Key Features
- Accossato AGPA38 front pad in Sintered (ST)
- For the Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse, 2022 to 2023
- High grip in hot and cold conditions, according to Accossato
- Dependable in wet weather
- All-season riding on a heavy bobber
- Two pads per box for one caliper
- Also available in EV1, EV2 and ZXC
Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's words, the sintered mixture keeps a high, stable level of grip whether temperatures are low or high, and it works well on a wet road. A bobber with a big V-twin is heavy and quick to gather speed, so the front brake has to answer reliably every time. The ST compound is chosen for that predictability, and it shares the brand's general goals of low wear, heat control against fade and effective stopping power.
Dark Bobber, All Weather
Owners of a Bobber Dark Horse often ride it more than they planned, because the bike invites short spontaneous trips as well as longer outings. That means cold mornings, wet evenings and hot afternoons in city traffic. A sintered front pad keeps the lever feel consistent in all of them and reacts promptly when water covers the disc. At each change, inspect the disc surface, look at the colour of the brake fluid, and clean the caliper pistons before pressing them back into their bores.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPA38 for the front of the Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse (Chief 1800 Bobber Dark Horse in the catalogue) in 2022 and 2023. The rear pad for this model is AGPA81, listed for the same years. The box contains a set for one caliper; count the front calipers on your Bobber Dark Horse before ordering. Compare the outline of the old pads with the new ones before fitting.
Road Approval
Inter-Pace holds no test documents or German ABE for this pad, which is therefore offered for racing and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
