DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Honda CMX 1100 Rebel looks like a laid-back cruiser, but many owners use it for long weekends away: a bag strapped to the seat, perhaps a passenger, and whatever weather the forecast got wrong. Accossato's AGPA250 front pad in the Sintered (ST) compound fits that kind of riding. Its grip stays constant whether the brake is cold or hot, and it bites dependably when the disc is wet. The listing covers the Rebel 1100 from 2021 to 2026, in manual and DCT form alike.
Key Features
- Sintered front brake pads for the Honda CMX 1100 Rebel, 2021 to 2026
- Accossato AGPA250 in the Sintered (ST) compound, article AGPA250ST
- Even grip from a cold start to a long, hot descent
- Reliable response on a wet disc
- Two pads per box
- The Rebel 1100 has one front disc and caliper, so one box does the front
- No German ABE on file; supplied for track and competition
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's ST lining is a sintered material, pressed and baked into a dense friction block. The company describes it as holding a high and constant grip level at low and high temperatures and performing well in the wet. On a heavy cruiser with a single front disc, that consistency is valuable, because the one caliper has to handle every stop on its own. The material wears slowly and resists fading.
Loaded Up for a Weekend Away
A Rebel 1100 carrying a passenger and luggage behaves differently under braking. The low seat and relaxed position put more weight towards the rear, and the extra mass makes the bike slower to stop. Start braking earlier, use both brakes together and apply the front progressively so the fork settles before you add more force. Before leaving, check the pad lining on the single front caliper: with no second caliper to share the load, it works hard on hilly routes. Look at the brake fluid, too, and top it up only with the grade printed on the reservoir cap. On the trip, if rain sets in, a couple of gentle applications after long stretches without braking will clear water from the disc.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA250 as the front pad for the Honda CMX 1100 Rebel of 2021 to 2026 and the AGPP185 for the rear. The AGPA250 is also sold as EV1 street/track, EV2 racing and ZXC ceramic racing. The single front caliper means one box relines the whole front brake.
Road Approval
We have been given no ABE and no test certificate for the AGPA250ST, so it is offered for closed circuits and racing.
Scope of Delivery
