Autumn is when a Honda CBR650F proves whether it is a real all-year bike. Wet leaves in the gutter, dew that never dries in the shade, a low sun and roads that change grip from one corner to the next: the brake has to feel the same through all of it. Accossato's Sintered (ST) version of the AGPA72 front pad is built for riders who keep the bike on the road from September to March, not just in high summer. It covers the CBR650F from 2014 to 2018.

Construction and Material Quality
Sintered friction material is pressed and baked into a dense, hard-wearing lining, and Accossato describes the ST mix in terms of consistency: a high level of grip that holds steady at low and high temperatures, together with good bite when the disc is wet. For the rider that translates into a lever that does not change character between a chilly first stop and a hot tenth one. Such pads also resist heat build-up, so fade is less of a concern on a long downhill run.
When the Leaves Come Down
Riding a CBR650F through the colder months is mostly about reading the surface, and the brake should be the one thing you do not have to think about. Spray from the front wheel coats the discs within seconds on a wet road, and the first squeeze of the lever has to clear that film. A material that grips reliably in the wet shortens the moment of hesitation. Autumn also asks more of the hardware. Grit and salt collect around the pistons, so clean them carefully before pushing them back when you change pads, and check the brake fluid: fluid that has absorbed moisture over the summer makes the lever softer just when you want it firm. New pads need a short bedding-in period on a dry, quiet stretch before the first wet commute.
Fitment and Compatibility
The AGPA72 is Accossato's front pad for the Honda CBR650F in the version without ABS in its name, for 2014 to 2018; for the ABS model the catalogue gives the AGPA81. Look at your current pads before ordering. The AGPA72 shape comes in Organic (OR), EV1 street/track and EV2 racing as well. The rear pad for this bike is the AGPP185, and the DK230 disc is listed too.
