Add a grey October afternoon and a surface still damp from the morning, and the rider wants one thing above all: the same answer every time. Accossato supplies its AGPA177 front pad in a Sintered (ST) compound for owners who use the 950 SP right through the year rather than only on dry Sundays, across the whole run of the model from 2019 to 2024.

Construction and Material Quality
One pad outline, several friction materials: this article number is the sintered member of the AGPA177 family. Accossato's claim for it is short and easy to test on the road. Grip sits at a high level and stays there, whether the pads have spent the night in a cold car park or have just come down a long gradient, and rain does not rewrite the story. Material of this hardness also gives up its thickness slowly, which is welcome on a front axle that works every day of the week. A box holds two pads, the number a single caliper takes.

A wet road asks for an early, gentle squeeze so that the pads wipe the discs clean before you actually need them, and on a supermoto that habit counts twice over. The Hypermotard 950 SP steers with very little effort, its long-travel suspension pitches forward readily, and a sudden grab at the lever throws a great deal of weight onto a wet contact patch. Riders who enjoy these machines in poor weather cover the lever earlier, slow in a straight line wherever the road allows, and leave the rest of the bend to the throttle. Grit lifted off a wet surface also finds its way between pad and disc, so a look at what is left of the friction material after a bad week is time well spent.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's data puts the AGPA177 at the front of the Hypermotard 950 SP for model years 2019 to 2024. The SP stops on two front calipers and each box serves one of them, so a complete change at the front means two boxes, renewed together across the axle rather than one side at a time. At the rear of the same bike the catalogue lists the AGPA42, and the AGPA177 outline is also offered in EV1, EV2 and ZXC for riders whose weekends look different from their weekdays.
Road Approval
We hold no test documents for the AGPA177ST: no German ABE, no inspection certificate of any other kind. Without that paperwork we cannot present the pad as a part for public roads, so it is sold here for circuit and competition riding.
