A long day in the mountains starts cold. The first descent on a Beta RR 480 4T happens with frost still lying in the shade and the disc barely above the temperature of the air; by mid-afternoon the same brake has been worked for hours on a rocky track in the sun. Construction and Material Quality
Temperature is the variable Accossato addresses with this material. Its grip is meant to sit high whether the friction face is cold or has been working for an hour, and water is not supposed to change what the lever does. A big enduro like the RR 480 4T puts real weight behind the front wheel on a descent, and the rider chooses a braking point from memory rather than by looking at the disc. Memory only works if the brake behaves the same way each time it is asked.
One Day, Two Climates
Mountain riding covers a lot of weather in a few hours. The AGPA51 is Accossato's front pad for the Beta RR 480 4T over the 2015 to 2019 seasons, and the catalogue names no earlier or later bike for this article number. At the rear the AGPP106 covers the RR 480 4T through the same years, so a rider replacing both ends at once can order to a single window.
