Not every RSV4 1100 Factory spends its life waiting for a circuit booking. Plenty are ridden on Sunday mornings that start dry and end in a shower halfway across a mountain range, with cold hands and a long descent still to come. Accossato lists the AGPA106 as a front pad for the Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory from 2019 to 2024, and the set on this page uses the Sintered (ST) compound, the mix the company describes as holding a constant level of grip whether the material runs hot or cold.

Construction and Material Quality
A litre-class V4 puts most of its braking effort through the front wheel, so the compound at that end sets the tone of the whole machine. Accossato's claim for ST is that the grip level stays where the rider left it, cold at the first junction of the morning or hot at the bottom of a long descent, and that water lying on the disc does not steal the bite. Around that sits the general philosophy of the pad range: retardation without rapid wear, and a friction material arranged so that temperature climbs slowly enough to keep fade at arm's length. On an RSV4 1100 Factory used on real roads rather than on a circuit, that even-handedness is worth more than any single peak value.
When the Weather Changes Mid-Ride
The awkward part of a wet day is rarely the rain itself. It is the half hour before it, when the first drops lift oil out of the tarmac, and the hour after it, when one side of a valley has dried and the other has not. A powerful V4 offers no help in those conditions beyond the control the rider exercises: slow down earlier than feels necessary, do the work while the bike is upright, and keep the opening movement of the lever unhurried so the fork can load before the pads take a firm hold.
Spray brings grit with it, and grit is what actually wears a brake out. After a wet ride, rinse the front of the RSV4 with clean water at low pressure, keep the jet away from the seals, and let the machine dry before a cover goes over it. When the wheel is next off the ground, spin it and listen, then look at the remaining material through the caliper opening and compare one side with the other; a difference between them usually means a piston needs cleaning rather than a new pad.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato quotes the AGPA106 for the Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory from 2019 to 2024. The rear listing for the same machine, the AGPA42, runs a year further to 2025, so do not be surprised that the two ends of the bike are covered by different spans. A box holds enough for one caliper and this Aprilia has two at the front, which means two boxes for a complete job, fitted on the same day so both sides wear together. Accossato also lists the DKS032 floating disc for this model, which is worth knowing if the discs are approaching the end of their service life.
Road Approval
We have no ABE from the German authorities and no test mark for these pads, which is why they are sold for racing and competition use.
