DescriptionThe whole story▼
A bigger engine in the same EN platform means more speed to shed before a tight corner or a technical drop, and the front brake on an EN 450 4T works harder for it than the smaller-capacity version in the same range. Accossato lists the AGD275 for the TM Racing EN 450 4T from 2017, a silver front brake lever in the original form.
Key Features
- Front brake lever in the original form for the TM Racing EN 450 4T
- Accossato's entry covers the 2017 model year
- Silver
- Right-hand side, front brake
- An original spare parts type, developed for an affordable repair
- Accossato reports increased resistance after damage or a fall
- One lever per pack
- No German ABE or test mark; racing and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
The AGD275 is built to the outline of the brake lever fitted to the EN 450 4T, so a repaired bike brakes and feels exactly as it did before. Accossato lists the part among its original spare parts types, aimed at value for money, and states that the manufacturing process behind these levers leaves them more resistant after damage or a collision. Silver is the listed colour, and nothing further about the part is published.
More Torque, More Braking
The extra capacity that makes an EN 450 4T quicker between obstacles also means more speed has to be scrubbed off before each one, and that load goes through the front brake lever every time. A rider who has stepped up from a smaller enduro machine to the 450 often finds they are braking later and harder out of habit before adjusting to the bigger engine's pace, which puts more strain on the lever during exactly the period when the rider's technique has not yet caught up with the bike. A pivot that has worn loose or a blade carrying an old, unnoticed bend changes how firm and predictable that braking feels, at a time when predictability matters most. Checking the lever regularly during the first weeks on a bigger bike, and fitting a fresh one rather than living with a lever that already feels slightly off, is worth the small cost given how much work the front brake is doing on this model.
Fitment and Compatibility
The EN 450 4T carries two brake codes for 2017, this AGD275 and the AGD278 alongside it, while the clutch side runs separately under the AGS14 from 2015 to 2018. A tuning option sits under Accossato's CNC levers B8206 and C7283. Beyond this bike, the AGD275 is listed with us for the GasGas EC 200, the Honda CRF150F and the TM Racing MX 250 4T.
Road Approval
No approval documents were supplied with the AGD275, so neither a German ABE nor a test mark can be shown, and the lever is listed for racing and competition use.
