DescriptionThe whole story▼
Read Accossato's brake lever entry for the CRF250L closely and a small hole appears in it. The AGD93 is given for 2013 to 2015 and again for 2017 and 2018, with the season in between absent. Owners of a bike from the missing year understandably want to know what that means, and the honest answer is less dramatic than it looks. The AGD93 is a silver front brake lever in the original form, listed by Accossato for the CRF250L across those two periods.

Construction and Material Quality
The idea behind an original spare parts type is modest and useful at once: give back the shape the factory used and charge spare-part money for it. On the CRF250L that means a blade whose curve and pivot end follow the lever Honda fitted, so the bike feels the same to ride afterwards and looks the same from the saddle. Accossato says its manufacturing process leaves these levers more resistant once they have taken damage or a knock. This code is listed in silver. No material, no weight and no measurements come from the manufacturer, and we do not invent any.
The Season That Is Not Listed
Application lists are built from fitments a maker has actually confirmed, not from a model's production calendar, so gaps in them are usually about paperwork rather than about parts. A season can be missing because nobody ever sent that machine in to be measured, because the bike was sold in different markets under different specifications, or simply because the entry was never updated. None of that tells you your own bike is excluded, and none of it tells you it is included either. What settles the question is the lever itself. Take the old one off the CRF250L, lay it on a plain surface and photograph it from directly above with the bars pointing straight ahead, or draw round it with a sharp pencil if you prefer paper. The pivot end carries most of the information, because that is the area that has to sit correctly in the perch and work the master cylinder; the sweep of the blade is the second thing to compare. Hold your picture against ours before ordering, and if the machine is from a year the list skips, send the photograph to us and we will say what we can see. It costs a minute and saves a return.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato gives the AGD93 for the CRF250L in 2013 to 2015 and 2017 to 2018, and the AGD280 as a second brake lever for the earlier bikes, which is why the shape comparison above matters for anyone with a machine from that overlap. The AGD93 itself is a wide-ranging code: with us it is also listed for the Honda CRF150R, the CRF230F and the CRF450R. On the clutch side the CRF250L has the AGS300. For riders who want a tuning part instead, Accossato's CNC levers for this bike are the B8301, the C7301 and the EDF025.
Road Approval
Accossato supplied no approval documents for the AGD93, so we can quote neither a German ABE nor a test mark. The lever is listed here for racing and competition use.
