DescriptionThe whole story▼
AV002 is Accossato's disassembled rear paddock stand, made in Italy from anodised aluminium, the same stand as AV001 but fitted with a V-shaped rubber support bracket instead of an L-shaped one. It also comes apart for compact transport and is listed by Accossato as suited to street and touring motorcycles.
Key Features
- Rear paddock stand, disassembles for transport
- Aluminium construction, anodised in seven colours
- V-shaped rubber support bracket
- Made in Italy
- Suited to street and touring motorcycles
Construction and Material Quality
Frame, colours and the folding construction are shared with Accossato's other rear stand; only the bracket differs, replacing the L shape with a V profile. The anodising runs across the same seven-colour range either way.
Choosing Between the Bracket Shapes
A V-shaped cradle grips a round swingarm tube from two angled faces rather than one flat face and one curved one, which is the practical reason Accossato offers both bracket shapes rather than a single universal one; neither shape is stronger or weaker, they simply sit differently under different swingarm profiles. Looking at how the bike's own swingarm or lift bobbin is shaped, rather than guessing, is the quickest way to pick the right one.
Fitment and Compatibility
This stand is not matched to named motorcycles; whether it is the right choice depends on the swingarm or frame lift point shape on the bike, which should be checked against the V-shaped bracket before buying.
Road Approval
Workshop equipment of this kind, used to lift a bike off the ground for servicing, does not call for road-use approval of its own.
Scope of Delivery
