DescriptionThe whole story▼
A bike built in as many years as the 150SX inevitably ends up with a few different owners along the way, and the rear brake reservoir cover is one of the smaller things that tends to get neglected somewhere in that chain. Accossato's PBM01 covers the 150SX across the whole 2009-to-2020 span, closing over the rear brake fluid reservoir in place of whichever cover came before it.
Key Features
- Rear brake reservoir cover for the KTM 150SX, 2009 to 2020
- Accossato code PBM01, closes the rear brake fluid reservoir
- Available in orange, blue, black or silver
- Same part also listed for the Husqvarna FE 250, TC 250 and TE 125, among others
- Accossato also offers a front brake reservoir cover, ABM04, for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
One shape covers the whole span here, so there's no separate version to track down depending on which year of 150SX is in the workshop. Orange, blue, black and silver all seat the same way, with the pick coming down purely to looks. Years in the sun tend to show first as fading or brittleness right at the edge of the cover, and that's the giveaway it's worth replacing.
Many Model Years, One Part
Working out which generation of an older bike a given listing actually fits is normally part of the job when sourcing small parts, but that question doesn't come up here since Accossato's own code spans the entire run. An early 150SX and one of the last built take the identical cover. It's still worth running the year past the application list rather than assuming from the span alone.
Fitment and Compatibility
Husqvarna's off-road range shares this same rear cover with the 150SX, Accossato's list naming the FE 250, the TC 250 and the TE 125 among the models it also fits. An owner running one of those bikes next to a 150SX needs only the one part between them. Checking the exact build year before ordering remains the sensible step given how broad this code's own span already is.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the PBM01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
Scope of Delivery
