DescriptionThe whole story▼
Triumph's Street Triple 675 R, built across the same 2007 to 2016 window as the standard bike, added sharper suspension and brakes to the naked triple formula for riders who wanted more from the chassis. Accossato's TS013 rear brake fluid reservoir cap, CNC-machined aluminium anodised in seven colours, suits the R's rear reservoir, shared with the standard Street Triple.
Key Features
- Rear brake fluid reservoir cap for the Triumph Street Triple 675 R, 2007 to 2016
- CNC-machined aluminium with an anodised finish
- Seven colours: blue, black, orange, red, silver, green, gold
- Fits the original rear reservoir, shared with the standard 675
- Also listed for several other bikes with the same reservoir
- No other Accossato cap currently listed for this particular R
- Matches the R's sharper chassis with a small finishing detail
- No German ABE on file; built for track and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
Starting life as plain aluminium, the TS013 passes through CNC machining before anodising gives it its finish, a process that leaves the colour sitting in the metal rather than painted onto it. Fitment comes down to the reservoir list Accossato publishes, since no further dimension is given, and the Street Triple R shares that reservoir with the standard bike it is based on. An owner keeping the R in its launch colours tends to pick black, while a bolder finish suits a chassis already set apart by its uprated suspension and brakes.
A Small Detail on a Sharper Chassis
The R earns its name through better suspension and stronger brakes than the standard Street Triple carries, and a rider who has already paid for that difference often wants the small details, the rear reservoir included, to match the effort spent at the front of the bike. Level the reservoir before the old cap comes off, protect any paint sitting nearby, and work without delay once the cap is removed, since a splash of fluid marks paint instantly and the open reservoir pulls in moisture from the air for as long as it stays uncovered; rinse off any spill with water straight away. With the fluid reading correctly between its marks, turn the new screws down evenly and give the rear brake a firm press at a standstill before heading out.
Fitment and Compatibility
The whole 2007 to 2016 production run of the Street Triple R, sharing its rear reservoir with the standard 675, appears on Accossato's list for the TS013, a cap also named for the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 and 900, the Honda CBR1000RR and the Kawasaki Versys 1000. This particular Street Triple R has no other Accossato deckel listed against it at present.
Road Approval
Accossato has supplied no test or approval documents for the TS013, so Inter-Pace lists it for racing and closed-course use rather than the public road.
