DescriptionThe whole story▼
Loading a GSX-S1000 onto a trailer for a track outing or a house move puts the rear wheel right at the edge of a ramp that may or may not be perfectly aligned, and a wheel that catches that edge at an angle can let the rear end tip before the bike has gone anywhere at all. For the GSX-S1000 built between 2015 and 2020, Accossato's PP077 rear axle sliders cover that transport risk alongside anything that might happen once the bike is actually moving.
Key Features
- Rear axle sliders for the Suzuki GSX-S1000, 2015 to 2020
- Accossato part PP077, one protector for each side of the swingarm area
- Aluminium combined with plastic, finished in black
- Spacers, screws and further mounting parts in the kit, as stated by Accossato
- Meant to touch down first during a trailer ramp mishap or an on-road slide
- Complements the PF054 front sliders and TP086 crash pads for this GSX-S1000
- Same PP077 part also listed for the Suzuki GSX-S1000F
- No German ABE on file; listed for racing and competition use
Construction and Material Quality
The PP077 pair is cast from aluminium with plastic worked in, both units finished black and fitted one to each side of the swingarm and rear axle on this naked application. Accossato's kit also bundles in spacers and screws, plus whatever else it judges the job needs. This GSX-S1000's own swingarm dimensions aren't published anywhere in what we've seen, so no geometry is claimed here.
Ramps Are Rarely Perfectly Aligned
A trailer or van ramp looks straightforward from a distance, but lining a wide, heavy naked bike up with it precisely enough to avoid any sideways drift takes more care than most riders give it credit for, especially in a rush before an early start. A wheel that drifts off-centre partway up can catch the ramp's edge and unsettle the whole bike quite badly, and a slider at the rear means that moment costs a scuff rather than a scored swingarm before the journey has even properly begun at all.
Fitment and Compatibility
Built between 2015 and 2020, the GSX-S1000 is the specific application for this PP077 fitting and only for that span; confirm your exact year carefully before placing an order. The identical part also fits the Suzuki GSX-S1000F, and the PF054 front sliders plus TP086 crash pads suit this same bike just as well.
Road Approval
There is no German ABE or comparable approval paperwork for the PP077, so Inter-Pace offers this pair for racing and competition use on the GSX-S1000, not for ordinary road use.
Scope of Delivery
