DescriptionThe whole story▼
CP006 is the 46 mm fork version of Accossato's raised, adjustable clip-on, lifting the bar by 40 mm over the standard mounting position. Like its sibling part made for a smaller fork diameter, it is forged in aluminium and supplied as a single, complete pair aimed at a more comfortable riding position for racing use.
Key Features
- Pair of raised clip-ons for 46 mm forks
- 40 mm rise over the standard mounting height
- Forged aluminium construction
- Adjustable design
- Supplied as a complete pair, single fitment option
Construction and Material Quality
CP006 shares its construction and purpose with Accossato's related raised clip-on for smaller forks, forged in aluminium as one complete unit rather than assembled from a separate clamp and tube, with a 40 mm rise built into the casting. The only difference between the two parts is the fork diameter they are made for, which for CP006 is 46 mm. Because the part is a single, complete unit, there is no choice of colour or length to make, only the fork diameter to confirm before ordering.
Matching the 46 mm Fork Diameter
The 46 mm clamp diameter of CP006 covers a different group of motorcycles to Accossato's smaller-fork version of the same raised clip-on, typically middleweight naked, sport-touring and twin-cylinder models rather than larger sportbikes. Because the clamp is forged for this one diameter, the fork tube measurement should be checked before ordering rather than assumed from the motorcycle's class or displacement. The 40 mm rise is intended, as with the related part, to move the bar closer to the rider than the standard clip-on position for a more comfortable racing stance, without adding any further adjustment once it is fitted.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists CP006 for the Honda CB500X, CBR500R and CBR650R, the Kawasaki ER-6F, ER-6N and ZX-4RR, and the Suzuki SV650. The complete list of approved models and years is in the Fitment tab on this page; the 46 mm fork diameter and the steering lock clearance should both be checked on the actual motorcycle before fitting is attempted.
Road Approval
We hold no inspection or approval documents, such as a German ABE, for CP006, so it should be treated as intended for racing and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
