DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Accossato PK026 is mechanically identical to the folding-lever PK025: the same 16 mm piston, the same fixed 16 mm pivot distance that Accossato describes as the softest setting in the clutch range, and the same integrated reservoir with a colour-matched cover and oil level marker. The difference is the lever itself, which on this version is fixed rather than folding, offered in the same seven colours with a relieving eyelet.
Key Features
- 16 mm piston diameter for a progressive clutch release
- Fixed 16 mm lever pivot distance, the softest setting in the clutch range
- Fixed lever, long version, with relieving eyelet (RST), seven colours available
- Integrated fluid reservoir with a colour-matched cover, adjusting knob and oil level marker
- Forged aluminium body with a CNC-worked cover and lever
- Offset riser that reduces bending of the master cylinder during gear changes
- Stainless steel mounting screws and a zinc-plated bleed valve
- Seals manufactured from Formula 1 compound material
Construction and Material Quality
As with the rest of this clutch range, the body is forged aluminium with the cover and lever CNC worked, and the hardware, stainless steel screws, a zinc-plated bleed valve and Formula 1 compound seals, matches every other integrated-reservoir unit Accossato builds. A fixed lever removes one moving joint compared with the folding version, which some riders prefer simply because there is less mechanism to wear or develop play over the years the clutch sees daily use. The offset riser and shortened passive stroke, cutting lever travel before the clutch disengages by more than half against a conventional unit, are unchanged.
Choosing a Fixed Lever on a Softer Pivot Setting
Pairing a fixed lever with the softest, 16 mm pivot distance in the range suits riders who have already decided on a light, consistent clutch action and have no particular need to fold the lever in, for instance commuters or touring riders who rarely drop the bike or need to store it tightly. Because the pivot is not adjustable, the lever feel does not change over time or need resetting after maintenance; it is the same light action, with the longer stroke that comes with a softer setting, every time the clutch is pulled. Riders who later want a firmer feel would look at a version with a firmer, larger pivot distance within the range instead, since this fixed-lever unit keeps the same soft, 16 mm geometry as its folding-lever counterpart.
Fitment and Compatibility
This clutch master cylinder is confirmed against 51 motorcycles in our fitment records, including the BMW R1250GS Adventure (2018-2019), Ducati Scrambler 400 (2016-2016), Kawasaki ER-6N (2012-2016) and Suzuki GSF1250 Bandit (2007-2016). All confirmed model years are detailed in the Fitment tab on this page; please verify fitment against your own documents before purchase.
Road Approval
This master cylinder is not supplied with German road-approval documentation; it is intended for track and competition use.
